Taking care of the environment and giving back to society are basic tenets on which we base our entire teaching and learning at Nachiketa Vidya Mandir. We educate our students to mould them into responsible citizens of the country. We conduct various activities and programmes through the year to emphasize and impress these concepts in students’ lives like Plantation, Organic farming etc.
Gaushala
Ancient Indian Sanathana Dharma based on Vedic Philosophy profoundly declares, human society can achieve extraordinary strength and stable collective mind (physical and spiritual) by doing Gau (Cow) Seva.
Nachiketa Tapovan runs a Gaushala in its premises to spread sanctity and positive vibrations. We spread the message of importance of cow protection and educate people on the significance of cows in building a sustainable ecosystem for our future generations. Gaushala houses around 27 cattle which include cows, oxen and calves. They are nurtured with utmost care, nutritious feed and medical facilities. A dedicated team is employed exclusively for their care.
Go Green
Our ‘Go Green’ initiatives encourage recycling and inculcate awareness towards the environment and society. We pursue knowledge and practices that can lead to more environmentally friendly and ecologically responsible decisions and lifestyles. We also demonstrate how to avoid wastage, and how recycling can save money, which can help protect the environment and sustain its natural resources for current and future generations.
